Senior Java DevOps Engineer - Contract Opportunity

Job Description:
Our client is offering an extraordinary opportunity to be part of a fast-moving, agile engineering team that is building a SaaS security product. We are looking for an engineer who has strong Java skills twinned with Terraform, CI/CD, and Angular but this is a nice to have.
Required Experience and Skills
- Extensive technical depth in core Java, with a focus on scalability.
- Experience with DevOps mythologies like Terraform / CI/CD Pipelines.
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
- Experience using automated API documentation tools such as Swagger.
- Ability to deliver high quality features with extensive automation coverage, including experience applying test driven development methodology.
- Proficiency in debugging and troubleshooting issues in a distributed environment.
- Good understanding of public clouds (AWS, Azure or GCP).
- Computer science or equivalent degree with 7+ years of experience.
Desired Experience and Skills
- Kubernetes, Jenkins.
- Angular
- Knowledge of security technologies including firewalls and IPS.
- Experience working in a start-up environment.
- Experience working on a SaaS product.
- Agile software development experience.
