This team plays a pivotal role in managing the growing number of partnerships and the increasing complexity of the digital music ecosystem. The position involves processing, reconciling, and analysing royalty statements while ensuring accurate and timely reporting of royalties earned through digital service providers (DSPs).This role offers the opportunity to enhance your skills in royalty reporting, rights licensing, and digital music platforms, while collaborating with cross-functional teams and key industry partners.Key Responsibilities

  • Process, reconcile, and analyse royalty statements and large datasets.
  • Work with partners to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of royalty reports.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies within royalty data.
  • Collaborate across teams to address technical problems, member queries, and DSP-related issues.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and propose enhancements.
  • Assist with internal reports and respond to queries from various departments, including Member, Finance, and Business Affairs teams.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel and Google Sheets skills (including common formulas).
  • Confidence and accuracy when working with numbers and large datasets.
  • Ability to understand and apply basic royalty calculations.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Willingness to learn new applications and tools.
  • Interest in the music industry, emerging technologies, and digital service providers.
  • Basic understanding of SQL.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with team/process management tools such as Airtable, Asana, or Jira.
  • Familiarity with Alteryx.
