**Senior Siebel Developer** (Contract)

Duration: 6 Months (Possibility for extension)

Location: London/Hybrid ( days in office)

Rate: A highly competitive umbrella day rate or salary is available for suitable candidates

Role Purpose

As a Senior Siebel Developer, you will play an instrumental role in executing project tasks to ensure the successful and high-quality delivery of an enterprise solution comprising Siebel IP14 and other Oracle application technologies. Your expertise will guarantee that all deliverables are produced on time, meet FIS Worldpay standards, and include comprehensive documentation for a smooth transition to the business-as-usual team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement Siebel technical solutions to user requirements through Agile user stories, leveraging your experience with relevant Siebel capabilities.
  • Configure the Siebel application according to refined, feature-based user requirements while adhering to Oracle's recommended guidelines.
  • Develop Siebel web services to facilitate interactions with external systems within the organisation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve defects, ensuring all updates and changes are documented and retrofitted accordingly.
  • Ensure quality assurance by adhering to all relevant procedures.
  • Participate in Agile refinement sessions, providing estimates and planning feedback.

Skills & Experience:

  • Degree in computing, mathematics, science, or engineering.
  • Proven experience in application development for large, complex Siebel implementations, with a strong understanding of the development lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver work on schedule and to specification.
  • Experience with Siebel Open UI, Agile methodologies, and Jira.
  • Strong Siebel development and configuration skills, with extensive experience in a project environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Proven track record in delivering technical solutions and a solid working knowledge of Siebel Workflow Processes, EAI, Task-Based UI, and eScript.
  • Familiarity with JAVA and Oracle DB.
  • Experience working across multiple platforms.
