I have partnered with a Global Technology business who are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Senior Tax Analyst to join our dynamic team. This hands-on role involves being the primary support for the delivery of global strategic tax compliance and other initiatives. Reporting to the Senior Manager of International Tax, the Senior Tax Analyst will manage tax compliance and support international planning and transfer pricing policies.

This position is ideal for someone who has proven UK tax compliance experience and is looking for their next progression into a business with a global footprint, some non-UK tax experience or knowledge would be a strong advantage.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for external service providers, sharing requested information and reviewing tax computations for the UK group and other income tax compliances.
  • Manage applications for certificates of residency for global entities.
  • Track global legislative and regulatory changes; assess and discuss with the tax team any impact on the organisation's operations and tax strategy.
  • Coordinate tax matters alongside other departments for shared initiatives
  • Assist in advising business partners on tax considerations of geographic expansion plans and assist with implementing new transfer pricing and/or structuring as appropriate.
  • Manage global intercompany agreements, partnering with legal, external advisors, and local finance teams.
  • Assist in tax audits, including responding to income tax notices.
  • Prepare one-off transfer pricing documentation and conduct initial reviews of externally prepared transfer pricing documentation.
  • Oversee global transfer pricing calculations on a monthly/quarterly basis.
  • Manage and assist in special projects as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven UK corporate tax laws and compliance
  • Ideally some international experience with in a multi-national corporation or large tax consulting practice.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to quickly adapt to new technology.
  • Impressive organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Competence with MS Excel – (Vlookups & Pivot-Tables)
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills to articulate ideas and plans clearly, accurately, and reliably to all partners.
