Temporary SEN Assessment & Review Coordinator, North London Pay rate £275.55 EHCP Plan Writing Pertemps are recruiting for an experienced SEN Assessment & Review Coordinator in North London. This position involves providing a comprehensive service to enable the Local Authority (LA) fulfil its statutory duties in relation to the assessment of pupils with special educational needs by ensuring the efficient and effective implementation of statutory procedures and the appropriate placement and ongoing provision arrangements for Enfield residing pupils both inside and outside the LA area. The essential key skills are : 
  • A minimum of 6 months experience of SEN Casework and EHC Plan writing for a Local Authority is essential the candidate will need to have extensive experience working on a post 14 team – applicants without this will not be considered.  
  • Experience in Local Authority SEN to have been in the last 2 years 
  • Knowledge of The Children and Families Act 2014, SEND Code of Practice 2015 & SEND Regulations 2014 
  • An exceptionally high standard of written skills for producing EHCPs  
  • Ecellent organisational skills that can meet conflicting demands to ensure deadlines are always met
