As a Tender Opportunity Analyst, you will be responsible for analysing data from government project portals and identifying key opportunities for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) services. This role involves reviewing project documentation, identifying key stakeholders (architects, quantity surveyors, engineers), and gathering essential information that will guide the pre-construction and bid teams in securing contracts.

Tender Opportunity Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review government project portals regularly to identify upcoming and ongoing projects relevant to MEP services.
  • Analyse project details, including scope, deadlines, budgets, and specific MEP requirements.
  • Track and document information on key stakeholders involved in each project (architects, quantity surveyors, main contractors, etc.).
  • Identify and compile lists of architects, quantity surveyors, and other decision-makers involved in government projects.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders to understand their requirements and influence project opportunities.
  • Evaluate tender requirements, eligibility criteria, and project conditions to determine what is required to win contracts.
  • Analyse competitors and market trends to recommend strategies to enhance bid success.
  • Prepare detailed reports and briefings for the pre-construction team, summarising project opportunities, risks, and strategic recommendations for tender.
  • Collaborate with the pre-construction team to ensure that all relevant data is incorporated into tender submissions.
  • Ensure all projects and tenders meet regulatory and compliance requirements set by government bodies.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of government procurement regulations and tendering processes.
  • Liaise with the pre-construction and estimating teams to support the preparation of competitive bids.
  • Provide key insights and recommendations during project kick-off meetings.
