A Nursery in Marylebone is looking for an experienced term time Manager with high aspirations and excellent organisational skills to run a small two floor nursery setting in the heart of Marylebone.

The Nursery has a maximumcapacity of 23 children aged 18 months to 5 years old.

This is a full time term timeposition and you will be required to work 45hours per week therefore please only apply if you can commit to the following:

-Monday to Friday

-8am-5pm

-41 weeks a year

-At least 2 years experience in a Management rolewithinEarly Years

-Up to date DBS (If not, must be willing to complete one)

-Understanding of Ofsted requirements, safeguarding & EYFS

-Excellent communication skills both written & spoken

-Confident knowledge of the inspection process

-Will be an exceptional leader who understands and will enjoy a nursery environment.

-Will be highly resilient and comfortable in a leadership role.

You will be required to carry out the following duties:

  • Working in a team supporting & leading the team
  • Follow Nurseries policies and procedures
  • Sharing innovative new ideas
  • Ensuring the children's needs are met as well as keeping them safe at all times
  • Communicate with children, staff and parents on a daily basis
  • To ensure responsibility for the effective daily running of the rooms
  • To have a sound knowledge of company policies, procedures and expectations
  • To act as an excellent role model to the staff team being able to showcase high quality practice in all areas
  • To take responsibility for excellent hygiene, health and safety and security practice within the nursery
  • To work with outside professionals where required
  • To work closely with parents and create trusting relationships with all families
