Transport Development Control Officer

I'm working with a local authority situated in London in their search for a Transport Planner who can comment on planning applications from a Highways Perspective.

This role is responsible for providing technical expertise and assessing and commenting on planning applications for developments on behalf of the Local Authority. 

Following this, my client will need the ideal candidate to be able to work on pre-applications on behalf of the client and conduct report writing.

A key element of this role is working with the local authority to assist with projects surrounding rural areas.

• This role is 3-6 months guaranteed, opportunity of taking this permanently after.
• Hybrid working, in London 3 days per week.
