We are working with a well-established UK charity dedicated to improving the lives of individuals facing health challenges, and they are seeking a Trusts and Foundations Officer to join their team on a temporary, 6-month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to an important cause, while enjoying the flexibility of remote working.
Key Responsibilities:- Research and identify new funding opportunities with trusts and foundations that align with the charity's mission.
- Write compelling, tailored grant applications to secure funding for the charity's initiatives.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing funders, providing impact reports and updates on their contributions.
- Track and monitor incoming funding, ensuring all reporting requirements are met.
- Collaborate with the wider fundraising team to help achieve the charity's financial goals.
- Proven experience in trust and foundation fundraising, with a strong record of successful applications.
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging and persuasive proposals.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects at once.
- A good understanding of the charity sector, with a passion for supporting individuals facing health challenges.
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a remote environment.
