About the RoleAre you a proactive and detail-oriented professional with experience in underwriting operations? Join our small, dynamic, and diverse team as an Underwriting Operations Assistant, where you'll play a crucial role in supporting our underwriting processes. We’re looking for someone with a positive can-do attitude, a willingness to learn, and at least 1-2 years’ underwriting operations experience. Training and development will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the underwriting team.
  • Prepare documentation and reports.
  • Organise and maintain underwriting files, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.
  • Monitor submissions to ensure all information and documentation are complete and accurate.
  • Coordinate with brokers and stakeholders to resolve queries and expedite processing.
  • Collect and distribute risk, premium, and claim data.
  • Perform data entry into underwriting systems.
  • Update and maintain trackers.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Collaborative and approachable attitude.
  • Good numerical skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and general computer literacy.
  • Experience in the insurance industry.
  • Educated to at least A-level or equivalent standard.
