Description

The ideal Underwriting Team Leader will:

  • Manage a team of 5-10, overseeing underwriting applications for key European regions.
  • Set clear team goals, monitor performance, and ensure effective day-to-day operations.
  • Provide training, coaching, and motivation to team members while maintaining quality control.
  • Liaise with stakeholders, including auditors, and assist with credit decisions on large exposures.
  • Contribute to process improvements and participate in hiring and training new employees.

Profile

The succesful Underwriting Team Leader must be:

  • A motivated team leader with at least 1-2 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage performance and resolve conflicts.
  • Experience in underwriting, KYC, or payments is desirable but not essential.
