Are you ready to lead a dynamic team in a supportive and progressive environment? Our client is seeking a passionate Ward Manager to join their award winning mental health hospital in Enfield on the Forensic ward. This comes with a competitive salary up to £51,000, plus a £5000 welcome bonus! Additional perks include free on-site parking, supplemented meals on duty, and 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays.

Our client is a leading provider of mental health services in the UK, offering a comprehensive care pathway that includes acute services and two medium secure wards. They are dedicated to supporting patients through a recovery approach, ensuring that each individual is at the centre of their own treatment plan.

As a Ward Manager, you will:
  • Manage the Forensic ward and its resources to ensure exceptional standards of care.
  • Ensure the nursing team has the skills, knowledge, and motivation to deliver high-quality care.
  • Assist with the development of services, ensuring wards run effectively.
  • Provide senior nursing leadership and act as a visible role model.
  • Plan and coordinate the quality and management of nursing care.
  • Handle rota management and ensure effective staffing levels.
  • Assess and manage the physical healthcare needs of patients.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and quality standards.
  • Provide clinical supervision, appraisals, and mandatory training for the nursing team.

  • A nurse qualification and current NMC registration.
