As Ward Manager, you will:
- Plan and coordinate the quality and management of nursing care, patient care and the clinical environment
- Make sure that the physical healthcare needs of patients are assessed and managed effectively
- Ensure that all patients have clear and current care plans that reflect their personalised needs and undertake direct patient care where necessary
- Provide guidance and leadership to the clinical team, promote best practice and continuously encourage the development of the service
The successful applicant will be a registered Mental Health Nurse with a valid NMC pin. You will have a prior background in a leadership position, along with a willingness to complete further clinical and leadership training. You will also have excellent communication skills, and a real motivation to strive for excellence.
