Are you a talented Womenswear Designer with a passion for blending sports and lifestyle aesthetics? If you have experience designing for categories like outerwear, athleisure, and performance sportswear, we want to hear from you!

Here is a great opportunity with a leading sportswear band-house that’s looking to expand its design team. In this exciting maternity cover role, you will have the opportunity to work across several sportswear brands, focusing on Womenswear Apparel across a range of categories including Outerwear, Performance Sportswear, and Athleisure.

The position is for an initial 12-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of a permanent role as the business continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Trend Research & Development
  • Design Creation
  • Mood & Trend Boards
  • Collaborative Range Building
  • Technical Packs & Specifications
  • Fit & Sample Management
  • Catalogue Content Creation
  • Client & Brand Meetings.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience in Outerwear, Athleisure, and Performance Sportswear design within fashion, athleisure, or the outdoor sector.
  • Strong knowledge of garment construction, fit, fabric development, and construction details.
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to translate research and trends into design concepts, from initial ideas to detailed technical diagrams.
