This public sector organisation are looking for a Workday Consultant with a deep understanding of the technical and functional aspects of the Workday platform, with deep experience in implementing Workday for HCM (Human Capital Management) and Finance functions.
This role is specifically focused on providing guidance at the early 'discovery' stage of a new Workday implementation. The consultant will leverage their deep Workday expertise to map high-level business requirements to the Workday platform functionality, identifying the technical requirements and challenges, together with recommended options to resolve.
This role will encompass both business and technical domains and will require the role holder to have experience of senior stakeholder management, preferably in a consulting or advisory context.
Experience Required:-
- Core: 5+ years' experience working with Workday HCM solutions (particularly Core HCM, Talent Management, Recruiting, and Payroll).
- Core: 5+ years' experienceworking with Workday Finance
- Core: Strong technical backgroundwith experience in Workday Integrations, Data Migration, Security, System Architecture, and Customisations.
- Significant knowledge of Workday functional areas, particularly Core HCM, Talent Management, Recruiting, and Payroll.
- Ideally previous experience working in greenfield implementationsand navigating challenges related to system integrations.
- Workday Certification(e.g., Workday HCM, Finance, Workday Integration).
- Strong knowledge of Workday integration tools, including Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Workday Web Services (WWS), and Workday Cloud Connect.
- Deep understanding of Finance system architectureand how it relates to HCM processes and business needs.
