Junior Gardener

JUNIOR GARDENER REQUIRED

LOCATION: South & Central London

Our clientis an exciting and expanding garden and landscape design company. They teach and train their staff in the never ending quest for horticultural knowledge.

We are a well-established company of over 25 years, based in central and South London, nurturing beautiful gardens of private high net worth individuals.

In addition to your horticultural job, your role will include fulfilling paperwork, working as part of a team and working to the highest of standards. It is important that you are a friendly person with good personal skills, able to talk to and liaise with clients.

Gardener applicants must:

• Be passionate about plants and horticulture
• Have some horticultural experience necessary
• Have a desire to learn and develop
• Ensure that the vans are kept clean and tidy with a full set of tools
• Be punctual, tidy in appearance and have good common sense
• Have good plant knowledge & care
• Have good communication skills both written and verbal
• Be happy to deal with clients
• Enjoy being part of a close knit team as well as being able to show initiative
• Be happy to occasionally work out of London with the odd night away

Job includes:

• Working hours 7am or 8am to4.30pm or 5.30pm Monday to Friday
• Uniform and mobile phone allowance
• Excellent training

• References will be required
• Starting salary 20 to 24k subject to experience
