Description

I'm looking for a Senior Graphic Designer to be part of a fast paced Graphic Design team on a full time basis. The graphics team serve as brand guardians, a solid understanding of branding is also essential. The ideal candidate will have a strong Graphic Design background and skill set paired with excellent communication skills.

Graphic Design:

  • Designing bespoke documents with a primary focus on formatting and laying out text heavy bid proposals in a creative format. These are not templated designs: you will take the lead on curating the look of the documents and presenting them to the project leads.
  • Excellent typography skills
  • An ability for graphic illustration for assets such as bespoke drawn iconography and infographics
  • An ability to work on project graphics such as bespoke drawn wall manifestations, signage, wayfinding and branding
  • Support internal teams with the design and curation of portfolios, newsletters, presentations and reports.
  • Collaborate with our marketing team to design and provide content for our website, social channels and marketing materials
  • As brand guardians, ensure all external communications align with the firms brand identity and tone of voice to achieve a brand consistency throughout

Bid Co-ordination

  • Work the internal teams to manage the end-to-end bid process for tender documents including PQQs. You will be responsible for ensuring your own projects are meticulously managed and submitted, often working to fast paced deadlines.
  • Coordinate and collate supplied information from the internal teams, understanding and ensuring tender requirements are met whilst aligning with the company's goals and ethos.
  • A willingness to learn about DENTON to help coordinate and guide the team with information such as case studies and a library of relevant bid content.
  • Familiarity of the design & build industry to understand the requirements of information requested.

Profile

A successful Senior Graphic Designer should have:

  • A degree or qualification in Graphic Design.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a Graphic design role. Experience in a Design & Build environment would be advantageous but not critical.
  • Proficient use of Adobe Creative Cloud - InDesign, Illustrator & Photoshop is a must.
  • Proficient use of MS office.
  • Proven experience within the design & build industry or similar is desirable but not essential.
  • A passion or ability for any additional design skills such as photography, UX/UI, Affect Effects would be a bonus!
  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills with the ability to produce high quality content under tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to work closely with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with the Head of Graphic Design, primarily focusing on independently managing projects and meeting deadlines
  • Someone who is dedicated and passionate about pushing creativity whilst adhering to the needs of briefs.
