Building Maintenance Engineer (Electrical) - London
Full time, 40 hours/week, shifts between 06.30am and 17.00pm. On call will be required, 1 in 5
Up to £39,000 per annum + Benefits (pension, health cover, flexible benefits and excellent career development)

As part of the Estates team, you will provide a first class building maintenance service to the hospital and satellite sites, covering reactive, project and scheduled maintenance work.Â

What you’ll do:
- To work on planned preventative maintenance schedules, in line with departmental goals and objectives
- To respond to emergency and unforeseen maintenance requests
- To carry out all work in adherence to Health and Safety, COSHH, Hospital policies and guidelines to ensure safety of staff, patients and visitors
- To participate in an on call rota and attend on call duties as required
- To liaise and oversee any external contractors
- To provide technical advice & guidance to all hospital staff
- To ensure that all equipment is audited, documented and any faults rectified
- To be part of the clinics fire team & attend all courses to ensure current knowledge of legislation.
What you’ll bring:
- Apprenticeship or Industry-recognised level 3 qualification either, Level 3 (NVQ) Diploma in Electrotechnical Services (Electrical Maintenance), Level 3 (NVQ) Diploma in Installing Electrotechnical Systems & Equipment (Buildings, Structures and the Environment) or Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installations (Buildings and Structures) if part of an Apprenticeship
- 18TH Edition (IET) Wiring Regulation desirable
- Periodic Inspection and Testing desirable
- Previous experience in Hard FM desirable
- General knowledge of Fire regulations
- Excellent customer care and communication skills
