Nursery Deputy Manager - Islington

Salary:35,000-40,000

Hours:40 hours per week across 5 days

We are seeking an enthusiastic Deputy Manager to join this Islington Nursery team. This role offers a balanced approach, with a70/30 split between being room-based and office-based.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a dedicated team and assume responsibility in the absence of the manager.
  • Offer training and ongoing support to staff, promoting professional development during team meetings.
  • Ensure effective communication with the management team to uphold high-quality standards.
  • Foster strong relationships with parents, caregivers, and local community partners.
  • Maintain accurate administrative records, including assessments and daily logs.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Demonstrated experience in team leadership and management.
  • Level 3 childcare qualification
  • Strong initiative, resilience, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
