The role is full time and would suit an experience SEN or Primary Teacher who has an interest in SEN and can help support, parents, children, teachers and support staff in the classroom and help plan excellent SEN interventions. The role does not have a class teaching element however you will need to be confident working with SEN children in different year groups and liaising with visiting therapist and specialists. The role will include working with parents and carers to ensure strong home / school relationships and to make sure that all children with barriers to learning get the best possible Primary education.

The school have a very welcoming ethos with children coming from a wide range of social and cultural backgrounds. Around 30% of children have SEN and the school have tailored their teaching practice to ensure children get the best out of their time at Primary school.
