Established over 50 years ago and part of a College Group, this College is Ofsted inspected, QAA reviewed and OfS registered with a reputation for quality and academic excellence.

Due to an exciting launch of the postgraduate courses to international applicants, they are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, hard-working and experienced Compliance Manager to join the existing professional services team from January 2025.

The role holder will offer advice and guidance to international students and is responsible for the effective management and maintenance of the College’s Student Visa licence from the admissions stage to graduation.

Reporting to the Registrar, the post holder will support the admissions function for the College by assessing international applicants and issuing Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) in accordance with immigration rules and Sponsor obligations.

Main responsibilities

  • Conduct Genuine Student Requirement (GSR) interviews
  • Use UKVI Sponsor Management System (SMS)
  • Tracking, monitoring and reporting on all CAS issued
  • Monitor attendance and engagement for all Sponsored Students
  • Assist with the enrolment of international Sponsored Students.
  • Ensure records for all Sponsored Students are up-to-date and accurate
  • Assist in the preparation for UKVI audits
  • Keep up-to-date with policy and legislative changes
  • Check international applications, English language proficiency and financial documentation.
