The School for Vocational and Technical Studies at South Thames College require a suitably qualified and experienced Curriculum Manager to deliver Level 1 and 2 multi-skills curriculum and manage outstanding quality teaching, learning, assessment and tutorial support to students so as to maximise achievement and continuous improvement. The role plays a key role in supporting the development of the curriculum with employer engagement and learner skills development.As a member of the Management Team, you will take responsibility for the quality control and delivery of both theory and practical elements to students on a range of multi-skills courses.

You will have expertise across the range of skills within the provision and experience of planning for and managing growth as well as the knowledge required to assure the quality and SV standards of the programmes. A track record of securing and sustaining excellent achievement rates is essential.

Educated to degree level, you will ideally hold a teaching qualification and have recent teaching experience in multi-skills in an FE College. Committed to managing overall effective performance of a team, you will have a successful record of setting and implementing target setting, monitoring and reviewing progress. With strong evidence of outstanding teaching, learning and assessment and effective employer engagement in curriculum design and delivery, you will have working knowledge of current framework for teaching, learning, assessment and quality assurance.

With effective presentation, delivery and time management skills for a variety of audiences and able to work under pressure and to strict validating body deadlines, you will have highly developed verbal and written communication skills in both group and interpersonal situations. Able to use initiative, organise and prioritise, you will have advanced levels of computer literacy and general office software management skills.
