Lead and develop the Physics curriculum across all key stages, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning that inspires curiosity and academic excellence.

Support and guide a dedicated team of science teachers, promoting best practice and continuous professional development.

Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of teaching strategies, student progress, and departmental targets.

Qualifications and Person Specification:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

A degree in Physics or a closely related field

Proven experience of teaching Physics across KS3-KS5

Previous leadership experience is desirable but not essential for the right candidate

Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills

A genuine passion for science education and the ability to inspire young minds
