Our client, a leading Lightning Protection and Earthing Contractor specialising in lightning protection, earthing services, surge protection, and ongoing maintenance support. They are now seeking a Lightning Protection Engineer to join their team.

As the Lightning Protection Engineer your primary responsibility is to test and repair lightning protection systems. This includes dead earth resistance training, a crucial aspect of the role.

• 17.50 per hour
• Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 4:00pm door to door
• 22 days holiday
• Home based role with digital job allocation with weekly office visits for team meetings and safety briefings

Responsibilities

• Conduct testing and inspection of lightning protection systems.
• Perform dead earth resistance testing.
• Carry out necessary repairs and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Use digital systems to receive and complete job assignments.
• Report to the office once a week for toolbox talks and safety briefings.

Requirements

• Experience in lightning protection testing
• Willingness to undertake full training
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Full UK driving license.
