We are looking for a dedicated ConstructionHealth and Safety Business Partner to join our team. About the Role

As a Health and Safety Business Partner, you will support the delivery of safety initiatives across the estate, ensuring health and safety standards are met across construction, maintenance, and event projects. You will aid in the development, implementation, and monitoring of safety management systems and ensure compliance with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations (CDM).

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Supporting stakeholders across the estate, ensuring compliance with safety regulations for construction and maintenance projects.
  • Providing expert advice on health and safety issues, ensuring projects meet statutory duties and safety obligations.
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external contractors to develop safety strategies, initiatives, and training.
  • Investigating incidents and ensuring lessons learned are effectively applied.
  • Contributing to the delivery of ISO45001-aligned safety management systems.

About You

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • A NEBOSH General Certificate and membership in a relevant professional body (Tech IOSH or similar).
  • Specialist knowledge in construction safety legislation and best practices.
  • A proactive and influential approach to managing safety and non-compliance issues in a complex, live environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex safety information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
