HEALTH & SAFTEY MANAGER - Needed for a £250m prestigious fit out project based in Centeral London
A unique and exciting opportunity has become available for a Health & Safety Manager to join a contractor and wok on their their largest london Fit Out project.
You will be responsible for setting up and helping to build all health & safety systems as well as managing the paperwork and permits. Reporting to the Senior PM & PD.
The Role:
- Providing coaching, advice and guidance to all staff on a wide range of H&S issues, promoting a positive H&S culture with forward-thinking ideas and open communication
- Undertake audits and permits as required
- Carrying out accident and incident investigations as required, preparing H&S reports on performance, implementation of company safety policies and procedures, and carrying out relevant training as required
The Candidate:
- Will hold at least the NEBOSH Construction Certificate / NVQ Level 4
- At least 5 years' experience working for main contractor, ideally Fit Out / Refurbishment projects
- Knowledge of relevant safety legislation and codes of practice with the ability to implement and develop standard operating procedures
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders at various levels of the organisation
