Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Locum Paediatric Dietitian to join our team in South London, starting 1st April. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a varied caseload of children with complex feeding needs. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will provide expert nutritional care to children with a range of conditions requiring specialised feeding support.
You will work with children with complex medical and developmental conditions, providing tailored nutritional advice and interventions to help manage their feeding challenges. This role is ideal for a dietitian who is passionate about paediatrics and has a strong understanding of complex feeding issues in children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert dietary assessment and management for children with complex feeding needs
- Develop and implement individualised nutrition care plans in collaboration with parents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals
- Monitor growth, nutritional status, and feeding progress, making adjustments as necessary
- Educate families and caregivers on feeding techniques, nutritional requirements, and health management
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Requirements:
- HCPC registered Dietitian
- Experience working with paediatric patients, especially those with complex feeding issues
- Strong knowledge of paediatric nutrition and feeding interventions
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with families and healthcare teams
