Role Overview:

Role Summary:

We are looking to recruit an experienced Deputy Practice Manager to ensure there are smooth processes across the organisation, supporting the Practice Manager (PM) with the day to day running of the Clinic, with the support of Team Leaders and the wider team.

Role Duties:

  • Coordinating and assisting the day to day running of the Clinic with the PM to ensure efficiency and compliance with Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulations
  • Coordinating scheduling, staff assignments, and patient flow to optimise clinic performance
  • Assisting with coordination of the Onboarding, MDT and Patient Support and Prescribing teams, ensuring accurate and complete documentation
  • Maintaining meticulous records of patient information, appointments, and regulatory documentation
  • Conducting Return to Work, Performance and other necessary meetings as required

Qualification/Experience for Role:

  • A good command of written and spoken English – GSCE (or equivalent) standard preferred

Experiences & Skills

  • Current or recent experience of working within a healthcare management and team management-based role, with proven and extensive experience in CQC-compliance within a medical background desired
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities to manage clinic operations, leading and motivating a team
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with patients, staff, and regulatory bodies
  • Ability to identify and resolve operational challenges efficiently  
  • Meticulous attention to detail in record-keeping and compliance documentation

Our Client

A private clinic, with linked pharmacy, which specialises in assisting patients who may not have found satisfactory results for their conditions via their existing medications. They work with consultants specialising within pain, psychiatry, neurology, palliative care and cancer, so their patients can receive their prescribed medication directly to their door, via next-day delivery service. Their prescribed medicines are produced and manufactured according to the pharmaceutical-grade EU-GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice.)
