They are looking for an experienced and passionate General Manager to lead their team and ensure the highest levels of service and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities:- Leadership & Management: Oversee daily operations and lead a team of dedicated staff, ensuring excellence in customer service and overall performance.
- Guest Experience: Ensure every guest enjoys a personalized, memorable experience that reflects the restaurant's high standards.
- Financial Management: Manage budgets, control costs, and maximize profitability without compromising on quality.
- Staff Development: Train, motivate, and develop the team, ensuring high morale and a strong team dynamic.
- Quality Control: Maintain the highest levels of food quality, hygiene, and presentation, adhering to both brand standards and health regulations.
- Strategic Planning: Work closely with the owners and executive chefs to plan and execute marketing, events, and other initiatives to drive growth and enhance the restaurant's reputation.
- Customer Relations: Build and maintain relationships with VIP guests, local businesses, and influencers to foster long-term loyalty and attract new clientele.
- Proven Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a General Manager role within high-end restaurants, preferably with experience in Japanese or Asian cuisine at some point in the past or currently.
- Luxury Hospitality Background: A deep understanding of the luxury restaurant scene and the expectations of affluent clientele.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development, motivation, and performance management.
- Operational Expertise: Solid knowledge of restaurant operations, from front-of-house service to kitchen coordination, and financial acumen to manage budgets, costs, and profitability.
- Guest-Focused: A passion for delivering exceptional service, with the ability to handle high-end clientele with discretion and professionalism.
- Cultural Understanding: An appreciation and understanding of Japanese culture, cuisine, and dining etiquette.
- Sales & Marketing: Ability to implement effective marketing strategies and partnerships to grow the brand and drive customer traffic.
