Position Overview:


The General Manager (GM) is a dynamic leader responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring that our values are reflected in every facet of the business. The GM will drive the restaurant's vision by delivering exceptional quality, maintaining high standards, and fostering a positive, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership:

-Oversee daily operations, ensuring the highest levels of quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

-Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistency across all areas of the restaurant.

-Monitor inventory, manage budgets, and ensure profitability while maintaining the quality of products and services.

Team Management:

-Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, promoting a culture of pride, honesty, and continuous improvement.

-Foster an environment where team members feel valued, respected, and motivated to deliver their best work.

-Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and create development plans for staff growth.

Customer Experience:

-Ensure a welcoming and unpretentious atmosphere, where every customer feels valued and appreciated.

-Address customer feedback promptly and effectively, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

-Maintain a visible presence in the dining area, engaging with customers and ensuring an outstanding dining experience.

Quality Assurance:

-Uphold the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.

-Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure consistency and excellence in every dish served.

-Continuously evaluate and improve processes to enhance the overall quality of the restaurant.

Financial Management:

-Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.

-Analyse financial reports to identify opportunities for growth and increased profitability.

-Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue while maintaining the restaurant's core values.

Strategic Planning:

-Collaborate with the ownership team to set long-term goals and strategic initiatives.

-Stay informed of industry trends and innovations, incorporating best practices into the restaurant's operations.

-Lead efforts in marketing, community engagement, and partnerships to increase the restaurant's visibility and reputation.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a General Manager or similar leadership role in the restaurant industry.

Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house management.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage and inspire a diverse team with a commitment to quality and excellence.

Financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.

A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and upholding the restaurant's core values.
