We are seeking a General Manager who excels in restaurant management, is passionate about hospitality, and who has the skills to lead our team and drive our business to new heights.

What Youll Be Doing:

Restaurant Management:
  • Oversee all restaurant operations, ensuring a seamless and elevated dining experience.
  • Lead and develop front-of-house staff, focusing on service excellence and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure high-quality menu execution and guest
  • satisfaction.
  • Implement systems to manage reservations, table turnover, and service flow.
  • Maintain impeccable cleanliness and presentation standards in the restaurant.
Team Leadership:
  • Inspire, train, and mentor a talented team across the restaurant, bar, and cellar.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment that motivates your team.
  • Recruit and retain top talent to uphold the high standards of The Black Dog.
  • Operations and Bar Management:
  • Manage bar and cellar operations, including stock control, keg management, and
  • line cleaning.
Operations & Bar Management:
  • Curate and oversee a premium drinks menu, including cocktails, wine, and craft
  • beers.
  • Ensure health and safety standards are met across all operations.
  • Financial Oversight:
  • Drive profitability through cost control, effective planning, and upselling strategies.
  • Monitor budgets, payroll, and GP margins, ensuring financial targets are achieved.
  • Prepare and present performance reports to senior management.
Event Planning:
  • Plan and execute events, private hires, and seasonal promotions, ensuring a flawless
  • experience for guests.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to design exciting and memorable
  • menus.
