Job Title: Temporary Medical Administrator

Location: West End, London

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £14.00 p/h

Days/Hours: 7.5 hour days - 8am - 8pm shifts (8.00 - 3.30, 10.00 - 18.00, 12.00 - 8pm) shifts

Start date: asap - possibly August

Fully clinic based Monday - Friday

You must have knowledge of salesforce

We are seeking a friendly and organised Medical Administrator a private mental health practice based in Harley Street. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a professional demeanour, and the ability to handle a variety of administrative tasks efficiently.

An enhanced DBS check is required for this role to ensure the safety and security of our patients. if you dont have one we will be able to apply for one on your behalf.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist patients as they arrive at the clinic/hospital.
  • Schedule and manage patient appointments using our electronic health records system.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Maintain patient records and ensure all information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Process patient payments and handle billing inquiries.
  • Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operations.
  • Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
  • Perform general administrative duties such as filing, scanning, and data entry.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role, in a medical setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and office software.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • A friendly and approachable demeanour.
  • Enhanced DBS check (required).
