English Academic Mentor - About the Role
As an English Academic Mentor, youll work within the English Departments of our partner schools, offering targeted support to students both one-on-one and in small group sessions. Youll assist with key literacy skills, help students build strong reading and writing abilities, and provide guidance during exam preparation. From KS3 to GCSE, this role provides an invaluable pathway to classroom experience in a supportive environment.
English Academic Mentor - Key Responsibilities
- Mentor students across different year groups to boost their English skills and confidence
- Lead small group sessions and provide individual academic support
- Assist English teachers in lesson planning and creating engaging resources
- Offer targeted help during revision periods and exam prep
