We are seeking an English Teacher to join our team in East London.This role involves teaching English up to GCSE level to students aged 16-18. The position is ideal for a dedicated educator who is looking for a rewarding teaching experience in a dynamic environment.English Teacher

Day-to-day of the role of a English Teacher :
  • Prepare and deliver engaging English lessons to students aged 16-18, ensuring alignment with GCSE curriculum standards.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their academic goals.
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to enhance student learning and interest in English.
  • Collaborate with other teaching staff to plan and coordinate lessons and activities.
  • Participate in department meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of the curriculum and teaching resources.
Required Skills & Qualifications for the English Teacher role:
  • Recognised teaching qualification E.g DET, DTTLS, PGCE or Cert Ed
  • Strong understanding of FS and GCSE English curriculum and assessment methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage and inspire students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Commitment to professional development and staying updated with the latest educational practices.
