We are seeking a passionate and experienced ESOL Lecturer to join our client's team and contribute to delivering high-quality education across a range of courses.

This role involves not only teaching but also supporting curriculum development and leading specific responsibilities within the School.

Main Duties:

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons across various subjects.
  • Develop and maintain course materials in line with objectives and assessment requirements.
  • Act as a Course Tutor, supporting students with their academic progress, pastoral needs, and progression pathways.
  • Participate in the College's quality assurance cycle, contributing to course reviews and action plans.
  • Maintain accurate student records and ensure high standards of student conduct.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders, including parents, carers, and employers, to enhance student learning experiences.
  • Open to take on on additional Responsibilities involving Mentoring new/inexperienced staff, Overseeing pastoral care for students, 14-16 curriculum coordination, or Health & Safety monitoring or Acting as an internal moderator or supporting curriculum development.

Requirements:

  • Experience in delivering high-quality teaching.
  • GCSE Grade C/4 qualification or above in English and Maths or a Functional Skills Qualification at Level 2 in English and maths, Level 3 qualified in the relevant subject area.
  • Teaching qualification, e.g. DTLLS, PGCE, or willingness to obtain
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain student records, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with College procedures.
