Position: Graduate Teaching Assistant (TA)

Location: Haringey, London

Role Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Responsibilities:

  • Support class teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Assist in the preparation of learning materials and classroom activities.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, helping them to achieve their academic goals.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Help manage classroom behavior and promote a safe, respectful, and productive atmosphere.
  • Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • A recent graduate with a degree in any discipline.
  • Passion for education and working with children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive, positive, and enthusiastic approach to work.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Previous experience working with children (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, volunteering) is advantageous but not essential.
