Job Description:

  • Collaborate with teachers to plan and deliver engaging lessons, providing one-on-one and small group support to students.
  • Assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment, fostering a sense of belonging and motivation among students.
  • Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Support classroom management and behaviour management strategies, ensuring a safe and respectful learning atmosphere.
  • Prepare teaching resources and materials, catering to the specific needs of students and lesson objectives.
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers and other staff members, promoting a cohesive and supportive educational environment.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., English).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and connect with students of different ages and backgrounds.
  • Passion for education and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on student's lives.
  • Patience, adaptability, and the ability to build rapport and trust with students.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
