Graduate Teaching Assistant - Brent
Salary: £85-£100 per day | Full-Time | Immediate Start
We are looking for a passionate Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a thriving secondary school in Brent. This role involves working closely with the SENCo to provide tailored 1:1 support to students with special educational needs, as well as assisting small groups in achieving their academic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer 1:1 support to students with SEND, ensuring their individual learning needs are met.
- Assist small groups of students, helping them stay engaged and on track with the curriculum.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to implement learning strategies and track student progress.
- Provide pastoral care, building strong relationships with students to support their wellbeing and academic development.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children or young adults, ideally in an educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine interest in education and supporting students with diverse needs.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
