A graduate teaching assistant is needed for an independent school in North London for neurodivergent students who require a bit of extra support.

Becoming a graduate teaching assistant, you will be joining a fantastic, supportive team and working at a school with excellent resources and facilities.

This school is easily accessible from around London, with great transport links.

Your responsibilities as a graduate teaching assistant:

Providing one-to-one support for students with MLD and ASD.
Assisting the teacher with lesson delivery and assessment.
Supporting students with preparing for their GCSEs.

A graduate teaching assistant will have:

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
The ability to implement a positive behaviour approach and promote a calm and supportive learning environment.
The ability to build positive and trusting relationships with students.
Strong teamwork skills.
Compassion, patience and understanding.

Requirements to be a graduate teaching assistant:

Right to work in the UK
Educated to degree level or equivalent
Willingness to apply for a DBS check
Experience working with students with learning difficulties
