The RoleA well-regarded secondary school in South East London is seeking a dedicated Head of Spanish to join their team in September. This full-time, permanent position involves:
- Leading and developing the Spanish curriculum across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
- Managing and supporting a team of Spanish teachers to deliver high-quality lessons.
- Ensuring effective assessment and monitoring of student progress.
- Promoting interest in the Spanish language through cultural events, exchanges, and co-curricular activities.
- Contributing to the strategic direction and development of the Modern Foreign Languages department.
The ideal candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), substantial experience teaching Spanish, and a proven track record in leadership within a secondary school setting.
