Job Title: SEN Lecturer Location: N15 Salary: Circa £36,000 (£31,839 for 4 days per week)Contract: Starting after October half-term

We are currently seeking an SEN Lecturer at a College, starting after the October half-term. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive and specialised environment, focusing on preparing young people for life in supported living environments post-college.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a class of 7 learners, most of whom are working at Entry Level 1 in English and Maths, on the Maximum Independence course.
  • Coordinate with 1:1 specialist teaching assistants, ensuring all learners meet their targets and that daily timetables run smoothly.
  • Deliver engaging and supportive lessons tailored to individual needs, helping learners work towards greater independence.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with young people with special educational needs (SEN) is essential.
  • Strong skills in coordinating and working alongside a team of teaching assistants.
  • Passionate about supporting learners in preparing for life beyond college.
