We are seeking Psychology Graduates eager to apply their academic knowledge within an educational setting. This role offers a unique opportunity to work within schools in the Tower Hamlets area, supporting educational programs and contributing to student development through psychological principles.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to gain experience working with children in groups or 1-2-1 with a variety of different needs.

To be an ideal fit for this role you must have a DBS or be willing to apply for one.

Day to Day of the role

  • Be available to receive phone calls from 7am for same-day assignments.
  • Work closely with students with special educational needs (SEN) from 8:30am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.
  • Assist SEN students in their daily school activities, ensuring they receive the support they need to succeed in their educational environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff to facilitate a supportive and effective educational experience for all students.
  • Adapt to varying educational settings and student needs with flexibility and a positive attitude.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Degree in Psychology or a closely related field.
  • Strong understanding of psychological theories and their application in an educational context.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Proactive and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Enthusiastic about contributing to educational development and student support.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
