This is a full-time position teaching Science to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students. The role is a maternity cover, starting in March 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons in line with the curriculum.
  • Assessing, recording, and reporting on student progress.
  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively to create a positive learning environment.
  • Contributing to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and collaboration with colleagues.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • A degree in Science or a related subject.
  • Proven experience teaching Science to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
