This is a full-time position teaching Science to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students. The role is a maternity cover, starting in March 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons in line with the curriculum.
- Assessing, recording, and reporting on student progress.
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively to create a positive learning environment.
- Contributing to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and collaboration with colleagues.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- A degree in Science or a related subject.
- Proven experience teaching Science to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- A passion for inspiring young minds and a commitment to student progress and achievement.
