Teach360 are currently partnered with a diverse, vibrant SEMH primary school located in the heart of Southwark. This is a lovely small SEMH provision which caters for 50 students , the provision are seeking a SEMH Teaching Assistant to join for the new academic year.

  • SEMH Teaching Assistant to work in a SEMH provision
  • SEMH Teaching Assistant who has experience working with students with social, emotion and mental health needs
  • SEMH Teaching Assistant for a full-time position starting in September

SEMH Teaching Assistant Role and responsibilities - Southwark

  • Working in a vibrant SEMH Primary School
  • Assisting teachers with the overall behaviour management within the classroom
  • Working 1:1 or in small groups with students who are struggling within a classroom setting
  • Offering support to young people with SEND/SEMH needs to remove barriers within the curriculum and make learning more accessible and fun for students

The Ideal Candidate for the SEMH Teaching Assistant

  • Previous experience working with children, including those with SEND/SEMH needs.
  • Proactive and reliable
  • Strong positive role model
  • Passionate about working in the education sector
  • Has an enhanced DBS
