Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant - Short-Term Cover (Primary & Special Schools)

Sanza Teaching Agency is currently recruiting on behalf of primary and special schools within the London Borough of Haringey for experienced SEND Teaching Assistants to provide short-term cover.

Key Responsibilities:

Support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) across various needs and abilities.
Assist in both mainstream and special school environments, ensuring students receive tailored support.
Implement strategies to manage behaviour effectively, fostering a positive learning environment.
Work 1:1 and in small groups to enhance students' academic, social, and emotional development.
Collaborate with class teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff to deliver high-quality learning experiences.

Requirements:

Previous experience working in a school setting, particularly with SEND pupils.
Strong behaviour management skills to ensure a productive learning atmosphere.
Flexibility to work across different schools on a short-term basis.
Ability to adapt and support pupils with a range of needs, including Autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
