APEX EDUC8 is seeking to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant for a Further Education establishment in West London. This is a full-time position starting immediately.

Full/Part Time: Full Time

Rate: £85 - £100 per day *(DOE)

Hours: 8:30 AM 4 PM

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one support to students, particularly those with additional learning needs, to ensure their educational success.
  • Assist with the planning and delivery of engaging learning activities that cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Use strategies in collaboration with the lead teacher to help students achieve their learning goals.
  • Monitor students responses to learning activities and accurately record their achievements and progress as directed.
  • Offer detailed and constructive feedback to teachers on student performance, challenges, and overall progress.
  • Promote positive pupil behaviour, addressing conflicts and incidents promptly, in line with established policies.
  • Create and maintain a purposeful, structured, and supportive classroom environment that enhances student engagement and learning.
  • Assist with classroom management and help maintain an organized and stimulating learning space, including displaying students work.

You Must:

  • Hold valid Right to Work in the UK.
  • Have an Enhanced Child DBS on the update service.
  • Provide two professional references.
