Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualised support to students with a range of SEN, including autism, ADHD, and moderate to severe learning difficulties.
- Assist in designing and delivering specialised educational programs tailored to each student's unique needs.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff to implement effective learning strategies.
- Promote student independence, confidence, and social integration in a nurturing and structured environment.
- Offer emotional and behavioral guidance to ensure student engagement and well-being.
Candidate Profile:
- Essential: A strong understanding of SEN best practices and a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
- Preferred: Previous experience working in an SEN setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students and colleagues.
- A proactive and adaptable approach to working in a dynamic educational environment.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development.
- An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
