Singh & Jones have partnered with an established global Multi D Consultancy, who are looking to develop their Southern region. As a forward thinking organisation, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Associate Directorfor their Build Structures team and tobecome the focal point in projects in the home counties and southern part of the UK.

The role will be reporting to the Regional Practice Directorand your duties will include;

  • Structural design elements on projects as required; undertaking detailed engineering design of a wide variety of buildings in the UK/Europe and further afield in Aisa
  • Working closely with technicians on CAD and REVIT drawings.
  • Representing the companyat meetings with the client, other professionals and suppliers.
  • Delivering excellent project work within agreed deadlines and within budget.
  • Ensuring appropriate service/design decisions are met.
  • Keeping senior staff informed of important and relevant design decisions to make sure that the objectives of the company and the client are achieved.
  • Coordinating your work with other members of the project team.

The position will suit a candidate with a Master Degree in structural engineering and must have 10years + of relevant experience in the UK on new and existing buildings. Having previous experience with all materials on build structures in essential, as well as goodAutoCAD skills and other engineering software; Revit Structures is an advantage. Working knowledge and understanding of relevant domestic standards. In addition to this, the candidate must be Chartered through ICE/IstructE.
