Position Overview

My client is seeking an experienced Day Shift Engineer to join a prestigious residential property in West London. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in one of London's most exclusive serviced apartment complexes, maintaining exceptional standards across a 1.7-acre development featuring 201 luxury residences.
Key Details

  • Schedule: 4 days on, 4 days off rotation
  • Hours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
  • Employment Type: Full-time, direct hire (in-house)

Compensation Package

  • Base Salary: 47,300 per annum
  • Probation Completion Bonus: 2,500
  • Annual Gratuity: Approximately 2,000 (pro-rata share of company-wide scheme)

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience in building engineering or facilities management
  • Minimum qualifcations NVQ 2 level or equivalent.
  • Strong technical knowledge of building systems and maintenance
  • Professional approach and excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with high-end residential properties preferred

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and monitor building systems and equipment
  • Respond to resident maintenance requests promptly and professionally
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance PPMs
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Coordinate with contractors and service providers when necessary
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities: Plant roooms, distribution board panels, emergency lighting and other installation.
  • Support the delivery of exceptional service standards
