Housekeeping Manager Needed for a Hotel Company in the City Areas -Up to £31,000 + Bonuses + Benefits

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Housekeeping Manager to join a hotel establishment in the City areas. The client is proud of their strong customer relationships and friendly atmosphere and are looking for an experienced Housekeeping Manager who can deliver on the up keeping of the rooms. Due to the demand to servicing their discerning clients, they are looking for like minded individuals who have worked in similar hotel with experience in housekeeping operations to join their team on a permanent basis.

Job Description

As a Housekeeping Manager you will be responsible for:

  • All H&S of the property
  • Maintaining daily inspections of the rooms
  • Used to managing a small team of housekeepers
  • Driving quality & standards are kept to a timely manner
  • Monitor progress and cleaniness at all times
  • Recruit & train new staff members
  • Helping guide and support the team including training & development
  • Improving quality control and service throughout the rooms
  • Implementing and making sure policies and procedures are adhered to at all times along with the team
  • Regular meetings with the General Manager anf front desk to discuss strategies and resolving problems
  • Great communication skills

The Ideal candidate will be:

  • Experienced in a similar Housekeeping Manager role within a hotel
  • Be able to work and manage a small team
  • Able to communicate at all levels and give clear direction to the team
  • Being able to act upon different housekeeping issues and solving issues
  • Be able to give verbal and written communication at all times
  • Used to being on their feet
  • Used to daily checks & hygeine and reinforcing standards and knowledge throughout the team members
  • Being proactive and being able to think on their feet
  • Used to dealing with different types of clientele with customer service being the top priority

The ideal candidate will have great organisational skills along with the passion and commitment in driving excellent service to the clientele and a proven track record in housekeeping.
